It is strange: have you heard about blue banana?

Blue Java bananas are a type of banana with a taste and texture that is reminiscent of vanilla ice cream. In addition to their interesting flavor, they stand out for the bright blue hue of their peel and their creamy white flesh.

The Blue Java banana originated from South East Asia It is also known as the ice cream banana.

These bananas are grown primarily in South Asia. They can even grow at temperatures below freezing point but usually require a minimum of 40°F (4.4°C) for optimum growth.

They contain a fair amount of fiber, as well as several antioxidants that help boost the immune system. They’re rich in vitamin B6 and C and contain plenty of potassium, magnesium, copper, manganese, and protein.

Even the leaves are useful. They can be used in place of aluminum foils since they can withstand polarized temperatures.

Progressive farmer Anil balenja started an experiment to grow Blue Java Banana in his farm. The plant yielded its first bunch and he is waiting for ripe the fruit.
