Mangaluru: A major fire broke out at pachchanady dumpig yard on the outskirt of the city on last night. Waste treatment machinary worth lakhs of rupees burnt in the incident.
A dense smoke coming out from the area. Fire brigade and MCC officials rushed to the spot after recieving information by locals.

Despite the efforts to extinguish the fire on the waste yard, the exhaust fumes in the air have worried people. The fire is currently spreading elsewhere.
The fire was blowing into the sky. Locals with firefighters are pouring water through a tanker to extinguish the fire.
Dakshina Kannada District Collector Dr. Rajendra KV, MCC Commissioner Akshay Sridhar and environmental activists visited the site.
