Mangalore: Dr. Ashwath Narayana C N, Minister for Higher Education, Information Technology and Skill Development, Government of Karnataka, also the Pro-Chancellor of Mangalore University will inaugurate the National Education Policy- 2020 Implementation by lighting the lamp at Mangala Stadium of the university at 12.00 noon on 30.08.2021 (Monday).
On the occasion, the Minister will symbolically inaugurate the newly established Mangalore University constituent college at Moodabidri, Bannadka. Mangalore university Vice Chancellor Prof. P. Subrahmanya Yadapadithaya will preside over the event. NITTE University Pro Chancellor Dr. N Vinay Hegde and other dignitaries will be present.
A workshop on National Education Policy will be organised from 10.00 am to 11.45 am to raise awareness. Karnataka State Higher Education Council Vice President Prof. B. Thimmegowda will deliver the keynote address and Syndicate Member Prof. Karunakara A Kotekar will preside over. The workshop will be attended (Online/Offline) by all the Deans, PG department Chairmen, Chairmen of the Board of Studies, the Principals of the Affiliated / Autonomous/Unit Colleges and the Student Representatives.
Participants in the program are advised to comply with the Government's COVID-19 Guidelines.
