Mangalore: The Eco club and Innovation Club of University College Mangaluru, here on Sunday celebrated "World Soil day" with student discussion and demonstrations on soil types.
Eco Club students organised a seminar talk on Soil in which Dhanushree, Manjunath and Ayisha Afra took part and explained the importance of the ‘World Soil Day’ with its origin and significance. Melreen demonstrated a video on soil profiling.
Innovation Club Co-ordinator Dr. Siddaraju M.N. spoke about this year's ‘World Soil day’ theme - 'Halt salinity and boost productivity’. The program was mastered by Sangeetha and Vedashini. Chethan welcomed the participants and Saloni extended vote of thanks.
