Evaluate according to conscience: Pro. P Subrahmanya Yadapadithaya


Mangalore: Evaluate the answer papers according to your conscience. Appropriate action will be taken against habitual defaulters, warned Mangalore University Vice Chancellor Prof. P Subrahmanya Yadapadithaya, while he also assured of considering the grievances of the evaluators with humanitarian concern. 


Addressing the evaluators (UG answer papers) at University College Mangaluru on Tuesday, he said that increase in the travel allowance and dearness allowances of the evaluators would be taken up in a timely manner. The Gradation list will be updated with the cooperation of all. But to uphold the dignity of the university should be everyone's priority.


Registrar (Evaluation) Prof. PL Dharma said that the instant payment of allowance and honorarium will be a huge challenge, but efforts will be made in this regard. “When preparing a question paper, it is best to submit an evaluation scheme as well. Action would be taken to increase the TA-DA according to the decision of fee revision committee though the syndicate, “he said and also requested teachers to provide information in time to complete the digitization of the gradation list. 


Evaluation Chairman Prof. Ramesh Karla initially requested the Vice Chancellor and Registrar to give at least one month for question paper setting. Principal of Dr. Anasuya Rai welcomed the guests. MUCTA President Parshwanath Ajri extended vote of thanks.
