Tuda Shadidhar urged the resignation of BC Nagesh

Accused that the Minister is against the education of poor children

Tiptur: The District Congress General Secretary Tuda Shashidhar urged the immediate resignation of BC Nagesh, the Minister for School Education who is responsible for damaging the quality of education with his confusing decisions.

He said in a Press Conference on Sunday that the government is snatching the poor and downtrodden children’s Right to Education with its anti-people policies.

He urged BC Nagesh, who is the main player in destroying the education and health sectors in the state, to resign immediately.

He said that, after BC Nagesh became the Minister of School Education, his decisions in the government destroyed Tiptur’s reputation. So he must resign immediately from the minister's post and restore the reputation of Tiptur.

He expressed his discontent, “Very recently a circular was sent to collect fees from the children in government schools. The bicycles which were provided for children also stopped. The minister is following the anti-people policy which is fatal to the poor people of the state.

Their hidden agenda is to stop the Dalits, the backward class and farmers, and poor children from avoiding education.

The earlier education ministers who developed the programmes brought comprehensive changes and became a model in the world. But, after BC Nagesh became minister, the government is destroying the entire education system”.

He said that the facilities which were provided by the earlier governments were snatched by this government. Earlier, governments provided free text books, midday meals, milk, eggs, uniforms, shoes, and bicycles. But this government is removing all the facilities.

The text books were revised and brought lots of confusion for students. This also humiliated the writers and visionaries of the state. The uniform provided by the government is not usable. All these are the result of the anti-people policies of the Minister for School Education.

They also did not leave The Mahatma Gandhi, Ambedkar, Kanakadasa, Valmiki, Kuvempu, Kempegowda, and Narayanaguru. The government humiliated all these visionaries.

“With anti-people policies, Minister BC Nagesh is damaging the reputation of Tiptur. BC Nagesh who is implementing the hidden agenda of not availing education for poor children must resign immediately and save the reputation of Tiptur.
