Orientation Program of 2025-2029 batch Engineering held at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bengaluru
Bengaluru: ‘Higher Education is not just about learning the texts prescribed. It is about making sure that every student feels supported and valued. It is important that the campus should embrace inclusivity ensuring diverse voices in the curriculum and co-curricular activities. This will enable the students to do experiments in their professional careers by using various combinations. In the field of music too, the successful musician enthral the audience with innovative combinations to the readily available notes to avoid monotony. It is good to see such an environment in Nitte’, opined Dr. L. Subramaniam, Padma Vibhushan recipient, world renowned violinist and global music icon.
He was speaking while inaugurating Orientation Day for the batch of 2025-2029 of Nitte Deemed to be University at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bengaluru.
Further he added – ‘Listen music whenever time permits to reduce stress levels, improve moods, increase energy levels and even speedup recovery from any setbacks. In addition, music increases blood flow to brain regions that control emotions’.
Dr. H.C. Nagaraj, Principal, NMIT, briefed the activities of the institution and state-of-the-art facilities available for students to learn with all dedication. Rohit Punja, Administrator, Nitte Education Trust, presided over the function. In the beginning, Dr. Sandeep Shastri, Vice President, Nitte Deemed to be University (Bengaluru campus) welcomed 1600 new entrants, their parents and guests. Dr. J. Sudheer Reddy, Dean (Academics) proposed vote of thanks.
