Mangalore: A special programme featuring a talk on coffee table books- The Echoes of the Corridors- A portrait of St Aloysius University and Touched by Angels A Portrait of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, documenting the heritage and legacy of St Aloysius Institutions and the Father Muller Charitable Institutions. The programme aims to highlight the importance of visual storytelling in preserving institutional history and values.
The talk will be delivered by Ms Giselle Mehta, who will speak on how coffee table books serve as effective tools for recording heritage, blending archival photographs, documents, and narrative to present history in an accessible and engaging format.
The programme will be graced by the Chief Guests, Fr Melwyn Joseph Pinto, Rector St Aloysius Institutions and Rev. Dr Praveen Martis Vice chancellor St Aloysius Deemed to be University, will share their perspectives on the relevance of documenting institutions rooted in education, healthcare, and service to society.
Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions, will preside over the programme.
The programme will begin at 5 pm on 21 December, 2025 at ‘Camelot’ Bejai Church Road Mangalore. The event is open to educators, students, historians, heritage enthusiasts, and the general public interested in institutional history, documentation, and cultural heritage.
