Bengaluru: Architecture, Planning and Design go beyond being mere technical disciplines and are powerful expressions of human imagination, culture, and innovation, said Dr. Sandeep Shastri, Vice President, Nitte (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru campus.
He was inaugurating an Open House Exhibition organised by the Nitte School of Architecture, Planning and Design with the objective of engaging students and the wider public with innovative academic projects and emerging ideas in the fields of architecture, planning, and design.
“Architecture, Planning and Design bridge engineering precision with artistic expression, enabling the creation of spaces that inspire, accommodate, and endure,” Dr. Shastri remarked.
The exhibition is open to students from Bengaluru city and across Karnataka and is being held at the Nitte School of Architecture, Planning and Design, located at the NMIT campus, Yelahanka. With free entry, the exhibition will be open from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. and will continue until January 10, 2026.
Students of Architecture, Planning and Design have showcased a wide range of groundbreaking projects reflecting visionary concepts and contemporary challenges. The creativity, craftsmanship, and innovative approach of the students are evident across the exhibits.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Ar. Nanditha Nagaraj, Principal, Nitte School of Architecture, Planning and Design, said, “In a rapidly changing world, Architecture, Planning and Design demonstrate what humanity can achieve when imagination is translated into form. We are proud of our students for effectively showcasing their talent and ideas.”
