Mangalore: New Mangalore Port Authority, under the aegis of the National Maritime Day Celebration Committee, in association with the Indian Red Cross Society, organized a Blood Donation Camp today at Srinivas Port Hospital, NMPA, Panambur, as part of the National Maritime Day celebrations.
The camp was held under the presidentship of Smt. S. Shanthi, Deputy Chairperson, NMPA and was inaugurated by Shri CA. Shantharam Shetty, Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society, Dakshina Kannada District. Capt. Manoj Joshi, Deputy Conservator, NMPA, and Dr. Surekha N. Hoskeri, Chief Medical Officer, NMPA, graced the occasion as Chief Guests.
A total of 123 donors, including NMPA employees, port users and stakeholders, participated in the camp, demonstrating their commitment to social responsibility and humanitarian service. The initiative reflects NMPA’s continued efforts towards community welfare and supporting life-saving causes as part of the National Maritime Day celebrations.
