Udupi: Two students of T. A. Pai English Medium High School, Kunjibettu, Udupi, have been selected under the prestigious INSPIRE–MANAK Award Scheme for the academic year 2025–26.
The award scheme is a flagship programme of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and is implemented by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India in association with the National Innovation Foundation–India (NIF), an autonomous body under the department.
The selected students are Master Avaneesh K. S. of Grade IX and Master Deepesh Deepak Shenoy of Grade X. Deepesh Deepak Shenoy is also a recipient of the Hoysala Shaurya Award presented by the Government of Karnataka in 2025. The students were selected for their innovative ideas based on scientific thinking and societal relevance.
Headmistress Mrs. Vinoda Shetty congratulated the students and appreciated their creativity, scientific temperament, and dedication towards innovation. She said their achievement reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing young minds and promoting research, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students. She also wished them success in the upcoming District Level Exhibition and Project Competitions (DLEPCs) to be organised by the district education authorities.
On the occasion, the Headmistress informed that admissions for Grade VIII for the academic year 2026–27 are now open and interested parents may apply early as only limited seats are available. She expressed confidence that students and parents will continue to choose the school for quality education and holistic development.
Dr. Shridhar R. Pai, Administrative Officer of the Academy of General Education, Manipal, congratulated the students on their achievement. He noted that as the institution approaches its Golden Jubilee, the accomplishment marks yet another milestone in the school’s journey of academic excellence and innovation.
The teaching and non-teaching staff of the school, the Parent–Teacher Association, and the School Alumni Association have also congratulated the award-winning students.
