Athens, April 27: “ Survive of the Universe depends upon the message of Gita as well as the adevi Mahatme. Mahishasura, a representation of Ego who troubled the world and Devi, a representation of Divinity who over went him Said Udupi Sri Puttige Mutt Swamiji while giving key note address at inauguration of two days event. During the launch of the “Chronicles of Devi” , a movie and to show that the peace will prevail over injustice was held in Athens on 27 April 2026.
The curtain raiser for the launch event was held in Athens, Greece to mark the confluence of two great civilisations that is the Bharat and the west . The first of its kind event at Greece hosted Dharmik gurus the scholars and thinkers from India.
Sri Sri Suguneendra Theertha Swamiji of Puthige Math, Shri Bhadresh Das Swamiji of BAPS, Sri Chenna Sidharam Swamiji of Srisailam were among those who attended the event. The event was competed by the most Anthimos Ananiadas a popular greek actor. Sri Balji Nagrath - Charge D’affaires Embassy of India to Greece was also part of the event.
Sri Swamiji appreciated the efforts taken by the Greek government in organising such events. Swamiji further said that a place where the Olympics was started to bring in the brotherly and unity feeling in the world Vasudevan kutumbakam
Sri Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji while addressing the gathering said that Srimad Bhagwat Gita and the Devi Puran has several things in common such as both preached the righteousness over ego, they define dharma over injustice and peace over war. Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji also announced that it is for this Dharma reason that he took the Sankalpa of Koti Gita Lekhana. Swamiji then gave the Koti GitaLekhana Yagna Deeksha to dignitaries , the greek nationals and others present in the event . The event concluded by honouring Swamiji.
