Mangalore: The UG and PG departments of Hindi of University College Mangaluru organized a two-day international online conference on ‘Hindi Diaspora Literature: Various Aspects’, recently.
Mangalore University Vice Chancellor Prof. P Subrahmanya Yadapadithaya inaugurated the webinar. Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh Vice Chancellor Prof. T V Kattimani delivered the keynote address. The inaugural function was presided by the University College Mangaluru Principal Dr. Anasuya Rai and Commerce Department Head Dr. Uday Kumar M A was the guest.
Resource persons, Kerala Central University Hindi Department Chairman Dr. Taru Pawar, Hindi and Marathi Writer Dr. Dhanya Kumar Birajdaar, Nepal Avadhi Sanskritik Prathishtana Chairman Bishnulal Kumal, Hindi Pracharak and Translator from Russia Ellya Osthopek delivered speeches on Hindi literature written by Indian Diasporas.
Hindi department Head Dr. Nagarathna N. Rao, PG Department Coordinator Dr. Suma T R, Dr. Gurudatta, Madikeri Field Marshal Cariappa College Hindi department Head Dr. Shridhara Hegade and others were present.
