Mangalore: A one-day workshop on research methodology was organized by Post-Graduate Commerce Department of University College Mangalore, in association with Alumni Association of the department in Ravindra Kalabhavana of the college here on Wednesday.
Inaugurating the workshop, Mangalore University Department of Business Administration Chairman Prof. Puttanna K said that knowledge about research methods is essential for students. Presiding over the program, Principal Dr. Anasuya Rai said, realizing the need for knowledge about research in the future, researchers and students should make good use of the program.
Alumni association President Venkatesh Nayak briefed the activities of the association. PG Department of Commerce Coordinator Prof. A. Siddiq welcomed the guests and delivered an introductory speech. Association Treasurer Raghavendra was present among others. Lecturer Sheethal K mastered the ceremony and Rajesh AS proposed vote of thanks.
Beeri AIMIT College Associate Professor Dr. Nagendra S, Yenapoya (Deemed) University Department of Commerce, Associate Professor Dr. Niuaz Panakaje, University Evening College Lecturer Abhinandan Kulal spoke about the various aspects of research. Students and researchers from various colleges attended.
