Mr Arun Shetty elected as president unanimously of The South Kanara District Chemists & Druggists Association (R)

Mangalore: The South Kanara District Chemists & Druggists Association (R) The Annual General body Meeting of the Association was held at Ganeshotsava Sabha Bhavana, Nagori, Mangalore on 29.10.2023 Sunday at 10.00 am. Mr. Sujith Bhide presided over the forum, Mr. Chitharanjan as Honorary President, U. Sunil Nayak Vice President, Gurucharan Rao as Secretary, Walter D'Cunha as Joint Secretary and Treasurer, Vinay Rai ; Members- Prashant Shetty, Sharath Alva, Santhosh Lobo, U. H Hameed, Narendra Prabhu, Vasudev Bhat, Ajith Shetty, C.H.Gafoor were present. Mr. Arun Shetty, the proprietor of Prafful Medicals Kulshekar was unanimously selected as President, Amrith Kiran Rai as the Vice president, Dr. AK Jamal as the secretary.

Chandrasekhar Bhat as Treasurer, Srinivas Bhat as Joint secretary took over the charge. Naveen T.R, Srikanth Shetty, Ramdas Shenoy, Sudhakar Pai, Sunil Dsouza, Rohit Kumar, Uday Kumar were inducted into the governing body. It was decided that Mr. Chitharanjan would continue as Honorary President. Senior members, Mr.Jnaneshwar Hegde, Mr. Mohammad Kunhi honored the immediate past committee.

Arun Shetty took charge and promised to make sincere efforts to find answers to many problems faced by the trade. Honorary President Mr. Chittaranjan and Senior member Mr. Ganesh Kamath wished the new committee success. Vote of thanks rendered by Secretary Dr. A.K Jamal. Executive committee member Shashidhar Palangaya convened the programme. The 58th Annual General Body Meeting concluded with the National Anthem.
