Mangalore: The Angelore Unit of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) in association with Inter-Religious Dialogue Commission of the parish organised inter-religious volleyball tournament for men and throw-ball for women on 10th December 2023.
The tournament took place at Capitanio School ground. Thirteen volleyball teams and ten throw-ball teams from the City and City Episcopal deaneries of the Mangalore Diocese participated in the tournament.
Two eminent sports personalities of the parish, Mr. Pradeep D’Souza, and Mr. Raymond D’Souza of the Mr. World fame were felicitated during the event. The trophy for volleyball was lifted by Bondel Team A while runners up were Bondel Team B. The throw-ball trophy was lifted by the Bondel team and Vamanjoor were the runners up.
