International Conference on Circular Economy and Artificial Intelligence Concludes Successfully


Bengaluru: JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru, in collaboration with Cape Peninsula University of Technology, South Africa, and Ulster University, UK, hosted a highly successful two-day international conference on “Circular Economy and Artificial Intelligence for a Sustainable Future” on December 2-3, 2024. The event brought together global experts, researchers, and industry leaders to discuss innovative solutions for sustainable development.


The inaugural session featured distinguished speakers, including Dr. Dinesh Nilkant, Pro Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Jitendra Kumar Mishra, Registrar of JAIN University, along with His Excellency Dr. Roger Gopaul, High Commissioner for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, who delivered the keynote address. The first day included a panel discussion led by eminent professionals Mr. Revanur Harikrishna from Tata Consultancy Services, Ms. Hema Dave Schneider Electric, Mr. Kumar Gangwani BDB.ai and Dr Ramesh Babu ChellappanThomson Reuters, among others, who explored the intersection of artificial intelligence and circular economy practices.


The conference included expert sessions, research paper presentations, and interactive Q&A segments. On Day 2 session titled "Expert Confluence," brought together thought leaders, industry pioneers, and academic experts to engage in dynamic discussions on the integration of Circular Economy and Artificial Intelligence.


Notable contributions were made by thought leaders such as Dr. Raj Singh,Vice Chancellor,JAIN (Deemed-to-be University),  Mr. Sujay Sen from LTI Mindtree, Dr. Devendra Arora from the Sports Academy Association of India, Mr. Suresh Kumar K.K,  Mr. Kalyan Kalwa from Healthi AI and Dr. Devaneyan S. from Yanbu Steel Company. The session was expertly moderated by Dr. Shraddha Kanwar, Chief Academic Officer, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).


Over 200 research papers were presented, showcasing cutting-edge studies on topics like AI-driven resource optimization and circular business models.
