Mangaluru: MBA study is a confluence of skills and opportunities. It helps in developing leadership and administrative skills, said Karnataka State Legislative Council Member Ivan D'Souza.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural function of the MBA (IB) programme at the University Evening College recently. Department of MBA Advisor Prof. Jayavantha Nayak recalled the special contribution of MLC Ivan D'Souza in starting the MBA programme at Mangalore University Evening College. Presiding over the programme, Principal Prof. Ganapathi Gowda said that students can achieve a great deal if they make good use of the opportunities given to them.
Nishal Delphine D'Souza, an MBA student, who will be participating in the Khelo India national level hammer throw competition to be held in Warangal was felicitated on the occasion.
Arline Shalma Fernandes welcomed the guests. Mohammed Shuhan extended the vote of thanks. Sharanya was the emcee of the programme. Teachers and staff of the college were present on this occasion.
