Inauguration of 5-day Electric Vehicle workshop 'ShaktEVah 3.0' - at NMIT, Bengaluru

Yalahanka, Bengaluru: ‘India’s reliance on imported raw materials like lithium and cobalt for battery manufacturing is the major deficiency. Therefore, developing a robust domestic supply chain and recycling ecosystem are critical. Our students of technology should involve themselves in intense research to find way outs as the future of electric vehicles in India is incredibly promising and is set to be a transformative journey, driven by a confluence of environmental imperatives, economic advantages and strong government push’, opined Suraj S.D, Founder and CEO of Decibels Lab, while inaugurating 5-day workshop ‘ShaktEVah 3.0’, organised by the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, NMIT, constituent college of Nitte (Deemed to be University) under the aegis of Power Engineering Centre at Bengaluru.
