Rs.10 crore business turnover milestone and inaugurates 14th ATM
Belthangady: MCC Bank, Mangalore, celebrated the 1st anniversary and the achievement of Rs.10 crore business turnover of the Belthangady Branch, and inaugurated its 14th ATM at the Belthangady Branch on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Vaibhav Arcade, near Church Road, Belthangady Highway, Belthangady. The ATM was officially inaugurated by Mr Sumanth Kumar Jain, Chairman, Excel Pre-University College, Guruvanakere, Belthangady.
The ATM was blessed by Rev. Fr Roshan Crasta, Administrator, Fr L.M. Pinto Health Centre Charitable Trust, Badyar. The first cash withdrawal from the newly inaugurated ATM was made by Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo, Principal, Anugraha English Medium School, Ujire.
The function was presided over by Sahakara Ratna Mr Anil Lobo, Chairman of MCC Bank. Rev.Fr Clifford Pinto, Principal, Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady was the guest. The 1st anniversary and the achievement of Rs.10 crore business turnover of the Belthangady Branch was celebrated by cutting the cake.
In his presidential address, Chairman Sahakara Ratna Mr Anil Lobo, thanked the customers of the Belthangady Branch for their support in achieving a turnover Rs.10 crore in the year of inception of the branch. He urged customers to extend their continued support and cooperation in achieving 25 crore turnover in the next year and requested the customers to introduce their relatives and friends to MCC Bank.
He further emphasized that MCC Bank has incorporated financial discipline and achieved all the financial parameters of Reserve Bank of India which has given permission to open new branches. MCC Bank has initiated a tradition of honouring achievers in various fields such as education, sports, and arts. Concluding his address, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Board of Directors, staff, customers, and community members for their unwavering support. He assured that MCC Bank remains committed to delivering high-quality services without compromise.
Delivering the first keynote address, Rev. Fr Roshan Crasta, congratulated the Bank on the inauguration of its 14th ATM at the Belthangady Branch and on achievement of turnover of Rs.10 crore in the first year of inception of the branch. He emphasised that the milestone starts with a small step but with lots of vision, dedication and leadership. He congratulated the chairman for his able leadership. He recalled the leadership of the chairman, Mr Anil Lobo at Valencia Church as the vice president of the Parish Council. He appreciated the helping nature of the chairman towards poor and needy.
Mr Sumanth Kumar Jain, Chairman, Excel Pre University College, Guruvayanakere, in his address, expressed his happiness for being the customer of MCC Bank and wished tremendous prosperity to the Bank in Belthangady taluk.
Addressing the gathering, Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo, thanked the Bank for the opportunity to be part of the ATM inauguration Beltangady. He commended the cordial service and professionalism of MCC Bank and pledged his support. He noted that in today’s highly competitive environment, growth is challenging; however, MCC Bank’s strong financials clearly reflect the management’s vision and the dedication of its staff in realizing that vision. He wished that the almighty may shower his choicest blessings on MCC Bank and the Bank may prosper rapidly.
As a social responsibility, a cheque of Rs.1,25,000/- was handed over to Rev. Fr Roshan Crasta, Administrator, Fr L.M. Pinto Health Centre Charitable Trust, Badyar to purchase Emergency patient shifting trolly with oxizen cylinder for their new emergency block.
On this occasion, educational achievers in SSLC and PUC who are customers of the Bank, namely Gaven Pinto, Jenisha Pereira, Sharon Dsouza, and Vivan Fleming Dsouza were honoured for their accomplishments. In addition, Vilona D’Cunha was felicitated for her outstanding achievements in sports.
Sri. Aloysius Lobo, Advcoate and customer of the Bank who has been elected as President of Bar Association of Belthangady was also honoured during the occasion.
Mr Praveen Fernandes, customer of the Bank who has been nominated as General Secretary of Karnataka State Congress Minority Unit was also felicitated during the occasion.
As part of the celebrations, customers who celebrated their birthdays on 22nd were specially honoured with a cake-cutting ceremony. Mr Shaji K.V., who celebrated his 50th birthday on the 16th of November, was also felicitated.
Director Mr Vincent Lasrado welcomed the dignitaries. The programme commenced with a prayer led by the Choir Group of Badyar.
