Mangalore: Mr Glenson Toney, Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean, School of Engineering, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), has been awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) by Lovely Professional University (LPU), Punjab. His doctoral research, titled “Design and Development of Adaptive Headlamps in Automobile Using Deep Learning Models,” focuses on the application of advanced deep learning techniques to enhance automotive safety and intelligence.
The research was carried out under the guidance of Dr Gaurav Sethi, Head, School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, LPU Punjab, and Dr Cherry Bhargava, Senior Engineer, Eaton Innovation Center, Pune.
Mr. Glenson Toney is the son of Mr Toney George and the late Ms Sherly Toney. He is married to Mrs Adiyamol Thomas and is a proud father to Tiara Sheryl Glenn and Emeera Ann Glenn.
