Bengaluru, March 6: Shri Shreyes Kumar D, Director of SDME Society (R), Bengaluru, has welcomed the Karnataka Budget 2026–27, stating that it reflects a strong commitment to strengthening both school and higher education in the state.
In a statement, he said the government’s emphasis on improving public schooling would contribute significantly to nurturing inclusive growth across Karnataka. He noted that enhanced support for higher education institutions would help equip the youth with the skills and knowledge required to meet emerging global challenges.
Shreyes Kumar D further observed that investments aimed at improving the quality of learning environments and expanding opportunities for students represent a thoughtful step toward building a stronger knowledge-based society.
He also appreciated the vision behind the budget, stating that the measures reflect a balanced approach that respects tradition while embracing innovation. Placing education at the centre of the state’s development journey, he said, is a positive step for the long-term progress of Karnataka.
