Mangaluru, April 18: District Surgeon Dr. Shivprakash lauded the community service of Rotary Clubs to the service of the humanity. He was speaking on the occasion of Handover Ceremony of Ultrasound Machine to Wenlock Hospital, a function held at Regional Advanced Paediatric Centre on 18.04.2026.
District Health Officer Dr. Thimmaiah opined that the poor patients can afford very advanced healthcare facilities at the hospital he said.
Riskonnect Company Director Ms. Shubha revealed that the company has sponsored this project as a part of company’s corporate, social responsibility.
Dr. Ranjan Rao, Anesthesiologist of Wenlock Hospital revealed the applications and operations of the machine on the patients and disclosed that the machine cost Rs. 10 Lakhs.
Rotary Down Town President Sathyajeet Rao in his presidential address informed that this activity is held as a part of their community service project.
President of Rotary Hill Side Peter Anthony Pinto welcomed the gathering. Dr. Suresh Bhat of Wenlock Hospital proposed a vote of thanks.
