Mangalore: Department of Commerce, University College Mangaluru, in association with JCI Mangaluru Samrat, organised a Future Training Program at Ravindra Kala Bhavana of the college on Saturday.
JCI India Provisional Zone Trainer (Zone XV) JC Karthik Shasthri trained more than 150 students on job- oriented interview. He called upon students to utilise the opportunity they get as students and improve their personality, leadership quality and communication skills. JCI Mangalore Secretary Anish Chandra too interacted with students. Students expressed their opinions and got their doubts cleared.
Earlier, Principal Dr. Anasuya Rai inaugurated the event by pouring water to a sapling. She urged students to get maximum out of the program, which will help in their future. Department of Commerce Head Dr. Sudha N. Vaidya, in her prologue, encouraged to develop smartness in work. Corporate skills and personality grooming also are important in the modern job market.
Commerce Association and Consumer Club Assistant Director Dr. A Siddiq, in his introductory remarks, stressed on the importance of soft skills and having enough stuff to face an interview. Arthika mastered the ceremony, while Preethika extended vote of thanks.
