Mangalore: Srinivas University, Mangalore has decided to offer the following Dual-Degree programmes to its existing students and students of other Universities as full-time Evening/Weekend Programmes in accordance with new UGC guidelines & NEP 2020.
The programmes will commence from the academic year 2022-23:
(1) BA in Yoga & Hindu Philosophy,
(2) BA in Music with many Electives,
(3) BA & MA in Performing Arts including Yakshagana,
(4) BA in Islamic Philosophy,
(5) BA in Cristian Philosophy,
(6) BA & MA in Public Administration with a focus on Civil Services,
(7) BA & MA in Communicative Languages (English, Sanskrit, Hindi, etc.),
(8) BA in Vaastu, Astrology, & Numerology.
(9) BBA in Event & Sports Management,
(10) BBA in Digital marketing & Retail Management,
(11) BA & MA in Sustainable Development Goals,
(12) P. G. Diploma in Yoga,
(13) P. G. Diploma in Sanskrit literature,
(14) Diploma & P.G. Diploma in Sustainable Development Goals.
Classes will be held in the evening/weekends & blended mode. Existing SU students of any year and other University students can take up the Courses. There will be 5 Subjects of 24 Credits per Semester. Students can exit after the first year with Diploma, after the second year with P.G. Diploma, after 3rd year with a Pass degree, and after 4th year with an Honours degree. The proposed fees will be low compared to other daytime courses and a further 50% scholarship will be provided to Srinivas university students to pursue dual degrees.
