Mangalore: A six days Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on – Elevating Healthcare through advanced Deep Learning: Innovations in Medical Image Processing, is organised by Department of Computer Science, Mangalore University in association with AICTE – ATAL, at IBM Lecture Hall of Mangalore University, recently.
FDP coordinator and Professor of Department of Computer Science Prof. B.H. Shekar briefed the objectives and agenda of the FDP. Inaugurator, University of Mysore, Department of Computer Science Chairperson Prof. H. S. Nagendraswamy provided valuable insights into the significance and current challenges in the field of medical image processing. Mangalore University Vice Chancellor Prof. Jayaraj Amin, in his presidential remarks, articulated that a genuine researcher perceives research embedded in every action within our daily lives.
P.A College of Engineering Vice Principal Prof. Sharmila Kumari welcomed the dignitaries. Mangalore University Department of Computer Science Assistant Professor Prakash M extended vote of thanks. University College Mangalore Department of Computer Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Bharathi Pilar mastered the ceremony. Prof. A. M Khan, Chairperson of Electronics department was present in the occasion.
The FDP, will feature technical sessions led by distinguished speakers from well-known Universities, IIITs, NITs, Industries and Medical Colleges. It encompasses theory sessions, hands-on workshops, and an industry visit.
