14th Annual Convocation of Jain (Deemed-To-Be University)


Bengaluru: JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), a leading private institution of higher learning in India, marked a significant milestone with its 14th Annual Convocation ceremony. The prestigious event witnessed the conferral of degrees to 17,687 students, including international students. There were 328 rank holders including 113 gold medalists. The convocation celebrated academic excellence across multiple disciplines, with students receiving undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees in various specializations.


The event was graced by Dr. Mazin Al-Masoudi, league  of Arab States Mission and Minister-Plenipotentiary, Dr. Frazer Scott James, Advisor to the Ministry of Education United Arab Emirates & Dr. Chenraj Roychand, Chancellor of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), who offered words of wisdom for the students’ next chapter in their lives



Dr.Mazin Al-Masoudi, League of Arab States Mission and Minister-Plenipotentiary, in his address highlighted the importance of adaptability in a rapidly changing world, stating "In our fast-paced world, change is the only constant. New technologies, evolving business models, and global challenges demand that we continuously adapt and evolve. This is particularly true in the field of commerce, where the landscapes of finance, marketing, and management are in a constant state of flux. To stay relevant and ahead of the curve, it is no longer enough to stop learning once we graduate. In fact, learning has become a lifelong pursuit, an essential part of our professional and personal growth. First and foremost, lifelong learning is the key to staying adaptable."



Dr. Frazer Scott James, Advisor to the Ministry of Education United Arab Emirates emphasized the importance of a positive outlook, stating, “No matter whether you're going through good or bad times, always remember that the impact you have on others is dictated by the way you carry yourself. So, if you're a source of peace, a source of joy for others, they will think well of you and such a simple gesture will make you a good human being as well.”



Dr. Chenraj Roychand, Pro-Vice Chancellor, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) congratulated the new graduates and said “ I foresee a great future for all of you. Please take advantage of it, optimize your potential, and show the world that you can make things happen. This diverse cohort of graduates represents the university's commitment to fostering global education and maintaining high academic standards.”
