The present young technocrats are fortunate to be part of the swift growth of technology and to do more and more innovations for the well-being of humanity’, opined Dr. S.M. Shivaprasad, Dean and Professor, IIT Dharwad, while delivering Graduation Day address during the 15th Graduation Day Ceremony at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. 


NIVEDITA G with a CGPA of 9.73 from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and ABHINANDAN S. VISHWAROOP with a CGPA of 9.73 from the Department of Information Science and Engineering were awarded Nitte Gulabi Shetty Gold Medals for scoring the highest CGPA among all the students of all branches of Undergraduate Program of the batch 2021-25.


Gold Medals are awarded to the Best All Round Students -BOY and GIRL category for considering their performance in Curricular, Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular activities during their studies at NMIT. 

Justice K.S. Hegde Memorial Gold Medal for Best All-Round Boy-Student was awarded to KARTHIK from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. 


Nitte Meenakshi Memorial Gold Medal to the Best All Round Girl-Student was awarded to KHUSHI CHANDRASHEKHAR ARAGANJI from the Department of Aeronautical Engineering.


In addition, 9 Gold medals were conferred to the brilliant students, who stood top in academics in their respective Undergraduate Programs


Rohit Punja, Administrator, Nitte Education Trust presided over the Graduation ceremony. In his presidential address, he said that new graduates have to keep constant link with the alma mater and to inspire their juniors on regular basis.


In the beginning Dr. H.C. Nagaraj, Principal, NMIT welcomed the gathering; Dr. Sandeep Shastri, Vice President, Nitte Deemed to be University administered the ceremonial oath based on the excerpts of Taitiriyopanishad to the new graduates; Members of the Governing Council, Dr. J. Sudheer Reddy, Director, Curriculum Development and Academics, NMIT; Dr. Prashanth V, Controller of Examinations, members of the faculty, students and parents were present on the occasion.
