A Convergence of Values: Dushyanth Sridhar to Receive the Panchajanya Puraskara 2025

Bengaluru: The Panchajanya Foundation will host its annual award ceremony on 27 December 2025, @ Viveka Auditorium, 4 th Block, Jayanagar, Bengaluru – 560011  at 10.00 am marking yet another milestone in its continuing journey of service to society. The Panchajanya Puraskara 2025 will be conferred upon Shri Dushyanth Sridhar, an eminent orator and multifaceted cultural exponent, in recognition of his tireless efforts to propagate Sanatana Dharma and value-based living across the globe.

Rooted in the conviction that a just, compassionate, and enlightened society rests upon three timeless pillars—Akshara (Knowledge), Arogya (Health), and Adhyatma (Spirituality)—the Panchajanya Foundation has consistently translated ideals into impactful action. Inspired by the universal benediction “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramayah” (May all be happy; may all be healthy), the Foundation works selflessly among rural children, government schools, and economically disadvantaged families, creating sustainable pathways for social transformation.

This visionary movement has been nurtured by committed leaders whose dedication has shaped the Foundation’s ethos and outreach. The contributions of Shri Murali S. Kakolu (Founder Trustee), Shri S. V. Subramanya (Founder Trustee), Shri Ananth Vedagarbham (Trustee), and Shri V. R. Venkatesh (Trustee) deserve special appreciation for their steadfast leadership, integrity, and service-oriented vision.

Under the Akshara initiative, the Foundation has empowered young minds by equipping government schools with digital learning tools, smart classrooms, and libraries, thereby enhancing access to quality education. The Arogya pillar addresses community well-being through health camps, preventive care, and hygiene support, touching countless lives. Most significantly, Adhyatma serves as the moral compass of the Foundation, fostering ethics, compassion, self-awareness, and value-based education, ensuring holistic development beyond material success.

Honouring a Torchbearer of Dharma

The selection of Shri Dushyanth Sridhar as the Panchajanya Puraskara 2025 awardee reflects a deep alignment between his life’s work and the Foundation’s core mission. A spellbinding speaker and scholar, he has delivered over 3,500 discourses in more than 23 countries, bringing the wisdom of the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Divya Prabandham to contemporary audiences with clarity and relevance.

An alumnus of BITS Pilani, holding an integrated post-graduate degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, Shri Sridhar exemplifies disciplined scholarship. His rigorous study of classical texts such as Sri Bhashyam and Gita Bhashyam under revered Acharyas embodies the true spirit of Akshara—lifelong learning anchored in tradition.

His contributions extend far beyond the spoken word. As an author, he penned Ramayaṇam (2024) and a coffee-table book on Vedanta Desika. In the creative realm, he acted in the Maṇipravalā film Vedanta Desika and directed the award-winning Sanskrit feature Sakuntalam. Through the Desika Daya Trust, he has led heritage yatras for over 3,500 devotees, connecting more than 200 sacred sites with history, architecture, and lived spirituality.

Notably, his recent Public Interest Litigation in the Supreme Court, seeking greater accountability in temple administration, reflects his unwavering commitment to ethical governance and societal responsibility—an authentic expression of Adhyatma in action.

The ceremony stands as a tribute to collective effort—of visionaries, volunteers, and awardees—who continue to inspire generations through purposeful action and unwavering values.
