Bengaluru: In recognition of his outstanding service and research contributions in the fields of yoga science and spiritual studies, Soumya Ranjan Mohakud has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the Asia International Culture Research University.
The honor was officially announced at a recent international conference held in Puducherry, where Mohakud actively participated and made significant contributions. The event was graced by spiritual luminaries, highlighting the global importance of yoga and spiritual research.
Trained under and guided by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder of the Isha Foundation, and the renowned Mysore yoga guru Srinath, Mohakud has mastered Temple Yoga and has played a pivotal role in bringing the scientific dimensions of yoga and spiritual thought to diverse segments of society.
University officials described this honorary doctorate as another significant milestone in Soumya Ranjan Mohakud’s dedicated journey of service.
