Mangaluru: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, successfully organised a Flyer Making Competition on 16 January 2026 at its Aviation Campus. The event was conducted with the objective of fostering creativity, innovation, design thinking, and teamwork among students.
Students from BBA Aviation Management and BBA Aviation and Logistics Management programmes actively participated in the competition. The participants demonstrated exceptional creativity by designing visually appealing, informative, and innovative flyers highlighting various aviation-related courses, reflecting both academic understanding and artistic skill.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, along with the support of the Head of the Department, IT Coordinator, faculty members, and student council members. Their collective efforts ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the event.
In the competition results, Ms. Nishitha G. Shetty and Ms. B. U. Preksha from II Year BBA Aviation Management secured First Place. Second Place was awarded to Mr. Udhith Kumar and Mr. Sharan S from I Year BBA Aviation and Logistics Management.
The Flyer Making Competition proved to be an effective academic and creative initiative that encouraged students to think innovatively and work collaboratively. The Institute of Aviation Studies continues to organise such skill-oriented activities to promote holistic development and enhance industry readiness among students.
