Mangalore: Dr. CA. A. Raghavendra Rao, Chancellor of Srinivas University, who was a guiding light in the field of education and an inspiring personality to countless students, departed for his heavenly abode on 17.02.2026. His passing has caused immense grief across the educational fraternity.
His invaluable contributions to the expansion and qualitative development of education, his socially committed vision, and his noble ideals have served as a guiding force for generations. In his memory, a heartfelt tribute program has been organized.
The condolence meet will be held on March 4, 2026, from 9:30 AM onwards at the Srinivas University Campus, Mukka.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vijayalakshmi R. Rao; son, Dr. A. Srinivas Rao; daughter-in-law, Prof. ER. Smt. Mithra S. Rao; daughter, Mrs. Padmini Rao; son-in-law, Dr. Udayakumar Maiya; and grandchildren.
The family has requested dignitaries, friends, students, and members of the public to attend the program, offer prayers for the departed soul, and pay their respects.
