SURATHKAL: The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, organized a plantation drive at its campus on Wednesday, 5 June 2026, to mark World Environment Day, extending institutional support to the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign initiated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Prof. Subash C. Yaragal, Deputy Director, NITK Surathkal, participated in the drive along with Deans, functionaries, staff, and students of the Institute.
On this occasion, NITK Surathkal joined hands with the national campaign Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, echoing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s call for collective action to protect biodiversity and promote sustainable growth.
