Udupi: Zero Shadow was observed at Mangalore on 24th April at 12.28pm and at Udupi on 25th April at 12.29pm by Members of Poornaprajna Amateur Astronomers Club.
The Zero Shadow Moment of Mangalore was live streamed on YouTube on the club’s YouTube channel from 12.15 to 12:35pm and the ZSD moment at Udupi was live streamed on the club’s Facebook page.
Hundreds from all across the state joined the live stream and watched as the shadows of objects disappeared. Students and teachers also conducted the observations from their homes of various household objects and reported with photos.
People of Bhramavara and
Kundapur can observe the phenomena on 26th April between 12:20 to
12:30pm.
