This is reaction of Jalagoan KVK Chief after tasting Raw Banana instant noodle.
"It has a unique flavour, no odd taste. We liked it", said Dr Hemanth S Baheti, Senior Scientist and Head of Jalagaon Krushi Vijnan Kendra. Dr Hemanth had this prepared for this first time at his home using G9 banana.
Fresh banana noodle, that can be made from any variety of raw banana, is not known in Jalagaon, the famous 'Banana Capital' of India. Jalagaon, interestingly has about 50,000 hectares of Banana cultivation. Fresh Banana Noodles is unknown here.
"This is very promising. You can make it anytime when you want in our area", Dr Hemanth reacted. He has plans to introduce Raw Banana Noodles in future programmes the KVK would be conducting.
