Completed writing 700 verses of Shreemad hagavadgeetha in just 3 minutes
Badiadka: In an impressive event, students of Sri Bharati Vidyapeetha Badiadka have taken a bold step towards a world record by writing all 700 verses of the 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita in Sanskrit in just 3 minutes. With the promotion of the International Book of Records, Amritsar, Punjab, 100 students participated, each writing 7 verses in the presence of distinguished guests. This resulted in the unveiling of pages of the Bhagavad Gita on a 20-foot tall and 12-foot wide image of Krishna. The students, reciting the verses in Sanskrit within 3 minutes, marched towards the world record while bearing witness to the Virat Swaroopa of Lord Krishna.
The record-setting event took place in the school auditorium under the supervision of Karunakar B., Senior Superintendent of the Kumble Sub-District Education Office. The director of Swaroopa Study Center in Mangalore, and his team had taken the initiative to this world record attempt. The program was conducted under the leadership of the school principal, Satyanarayana Sharma, with the cooperation of the teaching staff. School manager Jayaprakash Pajila,school management committee member Madhusudhan Timmakaje, and journalists were present over the event.
