Bengaluru: ‘Fresh graduates begin tentatively stepping into the professional world confront with a set of challenges that are unique to this era. With the speed at which technology and industries are evolving the ‘Learn Once, Work Forever’ model no longer applies. Graduates now need to be lifelong learners, continuously updating their skills to remain relevant’, opined Capt. Kaustav Nath , Founding Partner MPASL, while delivering the Graduation Day Address at Nitte School of Fashion Technology and Interior Design, Bengaluru.
Six students of B.Sc and 5 students of M.Sc secured ranks in Bengaluru City University and were honoured on the occasion. Among them, Chitra N stood Eighth in B.Sc Fashion & Apparel Design and Priya V.B stood First in M.Sc Interior Design & Decoration.
Awards were also conferred on the meritorious and talented students in various categories.
Dr. Sandhya Ravi, Principal, Nitte School of Fashion Technology and Interior Design administered the Oath of Ethics to the fresh graduates. Dr. H.C. Nagaraj, Principal, Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology presided over the function.
In his presidential address he said that Graduates should always posses positive attitude in life to climb the ladder. He further added that it is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task, which, more than anything else, will affect its outcome’.
