Mangalore: Alva's Education Foundation has been organizing the mega placement drive, Alva’s Pragati, for nearly two decades. The 15th edition of Alva’s Pragati, a mega Placement drive is scheduled to take place on August 1 and 2, 2025, at the Alva’s Vidyagiri Campus in Moodubidire.
Since its inception in 2007, Alva’s Pragati has grown into a significant platform connecting talented job seekers with leading employers across various industries. The Foundation, under its CSR activities, is conducting a free mega placement drives to provide employment opportunities to deserving rural candidates. To date, 61,517 candidates have been shortlisted, with 36,151 securing spot job offers.
Inaugural Program
The inauguration of 15th edition of Alva’s Pragati 2025 will be held on August 01 at Vidyagiri at 9.30 AM by, Dakshina Kannada In charge Minister and Karnataka Govt Health & Family Welfare Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao. Mangalore University Vice Chancellor Dr PL Dharma will be the chief guest and Mulki- Moodubidire Legislator Umanath A Kotian will preside over the program. Alva’s Education Foundation Chairman Dr M Mohan Alva & all the elected representatives of legislative assembly and legislative council of Undivided Dakshina Kannada will be present on the occasion.
Mumbai based freight forwarding and logistics industry- All Cargo Logistics Chairman, Shashikiran Shetty, Dubai based Fortune Group of Hotels Chairman Vakwady Praveen Shetty, Saudi Arabia based multi-sector company- Expertise, Chief Operating Officer K.S. Sheikh Karnire, Big Bags International Private Limited Founder and CEO Ravish Kamath, Rohan Corporation Founder and CEO Rohan Montero and Niveus Solutions Chief Executive Officer Suyog Shetty, will be felicitated at the event.
